Reminiscing on last years Friendsgiving celebrations I look back fondly at being pregnant during the Holiday’s and eating with such great purpose, delight and indulgence… Ahhh, to be pregnant during Thanksgiving I can’t think of any better timing nor excuse to eat an extra serving or two!
Although I am no longer pregnant, I will continue in my tradition of honoring my bodies needs and my minds desire for a little indulgence. I’ll be spending the Holiday’s with my mini family of three and with various friends here in California. I feel fortunate to have a few invites on the table and plan to attend as many as humanly possible which is why I’ll need to make several dishes this year.
To make things easy for you and me, I created this recipe roundup of a complete and colorful spread, including a little gift for the generous host/hostess. I would feel honored if you shared one of my dishes with your loved ones and would be inspired to hear about your Holiday meal plans in the comments below!
A creamy, cheesy and nostalgic Thanksgiving staple on my Holiday Table. This recipe along with my gravy and cornbread muffins are the reason why I get multiple invites to Friends-giving celebrations 😉
Creamy Vegan, Gluten Free Mac & Cheese
Don’t forget yo greens! I don’t know of a simpler way to give thanks to our bodies than by taking in some deliciously nourishing kale. This recipe can be whipped up in moments. Bonus:If you’re a home gardener like me then maybe you can use your backyard kale to treat and inspire your guests with.
Farm to Table Seasonal Kale Salad

Curry Kabocha Bowls or Pumpkin Curry w/ Pomegranate Arils
Having spent my formative years growing up in the South no Thanksgiving would be complete without cornbread. Enjoy these moist gluten free Cornbread Muffins.
