Gone are the days of just jumping on an airplane with a toothbrush, change of clothes and granola bar. Traveling with a baby via any mode of transport one fancies means one must be prepared with not only a change of clothes (for you and baby), entertainment, and most importantly food.
My son is by no means a picky eater, however I am cautious as to what he eats, albeit more laxed on vacation. Since quality matters to me and airplane food usually doesn’t constitute as quality, I pack a multitude of snacks.
For my most recent adventure I chose snacks that the three of us could enjoy not just treats made for one year olds. I aimed to keep my bags light and everyone satisfied and accomplished just that.
So here’s my list of goodies that lasted until the first few days of our trip which was very helpful when voyaging quite far to a new place.
Chocolate bar (for mommy)
Ginger chews (for motion sickness)
